Jason Hunter returns to town council at its next meeting on April 6.
Hunter won the byelection on Wednesday, capturing 167 votes. He had also won a byelection in October 2022, but lost his seat in the 2024 municipal election.
Bill Simpson received 99 votes, according to a document posted on Thursday.
A total of 266 residents voted, and none of the ballots was rejected, spoiled or objected to, the document says.
Jadwiga Dolega-Cieszkowski resigned in October after five years on council, creating the vacancy.
