ROSELEEN HRYCIW

January 13, 1939 - December 14, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Roseleen Hryciw, on December 14, 2025, at the the age of 86. Mom was born on January 13, 1939 and spent her childhood in Vonda, Donavon and Saskatoon. After marrying Harry Hryciw, they resided in Stranraer, Rosetown and retired back to Saskatoon.

Mom enjoyed her flowers, gardening, dancing and listening to Saturday Night Polka Party, but her greatest joy was cooking and baking for her family and friends.

She leaves behind her daughters, Joanne (Mike) Hill and Natalie Peel; three granddaughters, Andrea (Jordon Hamilton), Kitena (Cheyne Dallyn), and Shantel (Jay) Balfour; six great-grandchildren, Talynn and Theea, Isla and Elyse, Bodhi and Jax; sister, Elaine Monk; sister-in-law Janet Boyenko, and several nieces and nephews.

Mom now reunites with Dad; her parents, Mike and Anne Boyenko; Dad’s parents Nick and Sophie Hryciw and brother, Terry Boyenko.

Roseleen was also the last of the aunts and uncles on Dad’s side. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

As per Mom’s wishes, there will be no public funeral service.
