Youth grant deadline Friday

By Ian MacKay

Friday is the deadline to apply for a grant of up to $50,000.

Community groups must use money from the Canada Post Community Foundation for projects helping young people, ranging from literacy and language projects to providing people on the autism spectrum with guide dogs. The foundation raises money partly through the sale of certain postage stamps.

Charities, schools and community-based organizations that offer programs for young people must apply through canadapost.ca/community by 2 p.m. on Feb. 27.
