Rosetown in 1958

This photo of Rosetown, viewed from the southwest, was taken ca. 1958 and looks like it’s a photo of a completely different place! This snap was taken from the Hi-Way Refinery, which was located at 105 Highway 4 S, looking northeast. L-R: Searle elevator, Texaco, Co-op Lumber, Lloyd’s Hatchery, North Star Oil, Pool elevator, Pioneer elevator. A cloud of white steam can be seen billowing from a passing train in the middle of the photo.
