Midwest Mintos wrap up season of growth

The U-11 Midwest Mintos consisted of players from towns within an 80-km radius around Milden, including Elrose, Dinsmore, Harris, Milden, Outlook and Rosetown. We attended four tournaments in Shaunavon-Gull Lake, Assiniboia, Prince Albert and Weyburn.

Although we consistently faced tough competition this season, we were a team made up of all first-year players, except for one. We progressively showed great improvement and immense grit throughout the season, facing some of the most talented U-11 players in the province.

A big thanks goes to our managers, Jamie Cowell and Lisa Prestley, who organized team-bonding activities at two different SIM rooms at the Assiniboia Southland Co-op Centre and Weyburn's Another Round.
