Remember When: Rosetown School
Three people at the top of the steps to the Rosetown School in the 1920s. This school would later be renamed Stewart School, in honour of longtime teacher Miss Nettie Stewart, who was first hired to teach Rosetown students in 1912 and continued to do so for the next forty years.
In this photo, Maggie Spence (nee Buchanan) sits with an unknown gentleman on the banister to the school. The photo was taken in the cooler months, as evidenced by her raccoon fur muff with the tail still attached.
