Marisa Winny scored the lone Redwings goal in Regina, assisted by Lindsey Campbell at 2:58 of the first period. Elizabeth King and Raia Nachtegaele replied for the Rebels.

Kailee Preston was in goal for the Redwings, while Easton Petracek tended the net for Regina. Shots on goal were not recorded.

At the U-15 level, the Rosetown Redwings also came up short, falling in the Hi-Way 14 League consolation final to the Maidstone-Neilburg Jets.

The series went the distance in a modified best-of-three format. Rosetown opened with a 9-2 win in Maidstone on March 26, highlighted by six goals from Cohen Wickett. Quinton Kadler added two goals and an assist, Emery Carlson scored once and Kyler Ptolemy chipped in with two assists.

The Jets responded with a 7-0 victory in Game 2 on March 29, with Walker Parkinson and Cohen Wismer each recording hat tricks and Drew Perkins adding a single.

That set up a deciding mini game, where Parkinson scored just 54 seconds into a 20-minute overtime period to give the Jets a 1-0 win after a scoreless regulation.

Jones Maxemniuk played 40 minutes in goal for the Redwings in Game 2, with affiliated player Jarrod Wagner handling the remaining 20 minutes. Cort Ducherer was in goal for the Jets.
