Library News: Free Take-and-Make Spice Kits available for Family Literacy Day

Family Literacy Day is on January 27th, and the 2026 theme is “Make mealtime family learning time.” To celebrate, free Take and Make Spice Kits are available at the library.
Each kit contains 1oz ground coriander, 1oz ground cayenne, multicultural recipes that include those spices, and a family literacy booklet with resources and activities. There are also Family Bingo sheets at the library, which can be played for a chance to win a prize.
There will be a Storytime for children 5 and under at the library on January 27th at 10:30 AM.
