Choir practice

Members of the Walter Aseltine School choir work on their parts during a practice on Thursday. Co-director Stacy Becker (L) directs Marcus Batallones (hidden behind Ms. Becker), Aanya Haider, Maxine Binodo, (hidden) Freya Nichols, Carael Palima, Avery Grant, Alex Main, Berenay Dag, Brooke Peters, Ethan Gabriel, Deniah Falcon, Marissa Johnston, (hidden) Willow Janzen, Nathan Vilar, Mahlon Johnston, Ezikiel Ragragio, Brielle Martinson-Bell, August Knight, Lux Diebert, Madison Cole, Miranda Bacon, Ava Jedlicka, (hidden) Ella Mann, Hailey Emmons, Blayke Wagar, Erika Fehr, Isabelle Gavin, Adalyn Lefebvre, Laurel Kahovec, Lilah Carlson, Liv Dobson, Sage Aylward and Nathan Falk. Missing are Kassie Ayleward, Alexus Cledgett, Donnie Ennis, Paige Hardy, Amelia O'Brien, Laura Omeke, Kira Pfledging and Leane Pretorius, accompanied by Anna Cressman on the keyboard. The choir performs Echoes of Kindness by Elaine Schram and Linda Marcus and Axolotl by Mark Burrows on March 19 during the music festival, with Renee Torwalt-Lawrence directing one of the songs.
