Auditions to appear on the 50th edition of Telemiracle happen in Regina and Saskatoon on Nov. 1 and 2, respectively.

Prospective performers must register online at www.telemiracle.com/auditions by Oct. 17. The show airs over the province’s CTV stations at the end of February.

“If you've ever considered auditioning, what better time than to be part of such a historic show,” said Tammy Blackwell, formerly of Dinsmore, who chairs TeleMiracle 50. Blackwell has been “a dedicated member of the Dinsmore Kinette Club since 1995,” the Telemiracle website says.

Telemiracle happens on Feb. 28-March 1 in Saskatoon. Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs present the annual 20-hour telethon to raise money for the Kinsmen Foundation. The foundation helps pay travel costs and supplies mobility equipment for people who need special medical help.

Performers may audition in person or by submitting a video online. Each in-person audition must finish within 15 minutes, including setup and introductions.

“Dozens of acts will be chosen to perform on the TeleMiracle 50 show,” a statement said. “Talent and passion for TeleMiracle are the main criteria but performers are also chosen based on talent specialty and community diversity across Saskatchewan.”
