SHA to take over Rosetown primary care clinic April 1
The Saskatchewan Health Authority will assume operation of the Rosetown and District Primary Care Centre and relocate the clinic to the Rosetown and District Health Centre on April 1.
The move means patients in Rosetown and the surrounding area will access primary health care services at 409 Highway 4 North. After April 1, appointments can be booked by calling 306-882-4620.
The health authority said existing patients will still be able to book appointments with their primary care provider.
SHA said bringing services together in one location is expected to improve access to team-based care and help streamline co-ordination of health services for patients in the area.
All staff and primary care providers currently employed at the primary care centre will transition to the Saskatchewan Health Authority effective April 1.
The authority also thanked the Town of Rosetown for its years of operating the clinic in partnership with health officials.
