Rosetown health centre receives new cardiac stress test machine

A new cardiac stress test machine has been donated to the Rosetown and District Health Centre through the Ositis Foundation, helping ensure the service continues for Rosetown and surrounding area.

The foundation said the equipment was donated by Geri Harvey in loving memory of her husband, Craig Harvey. The existing machine is 14 years old and parts for it are now obsolete.

Dr. Saby Bose provides cardiac stress testing and consultations for cardiac and endocrine issues once a month in Rosetown. The service has been offered since 2012 through the efforts of Dr. Dave Ledding and other founding physicians of the Ositis Foundation.

Foundation representatives said they are grateful to Harvey for providing the new equipment so the service can continue in the community and surrounding area.
