Remember When: Church Carpet

The Anglican Church Women’s Auxiliary work on sewing the church carpet, circa 1913. Among the women are Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Fiske, and Mrs. Staples, with the minister standing in the centre. The original Anglican Church—the interior of which can be partially seen in this photo—was located at Main Street and 5th Avenue West.
