Redwings, Stars to settle CRHL final in Game 5
The Rosetown Redwings and Dodsland Stars will meet in a winner-take-all Game 5 after splitting the first four games of the Cross Roads Hockey League final.
Rosetown kept its season alive with an 8-4 win at home on Friday after Dodsland had taken a 3-1 victory in Kerrobert on March 13.
The Redwings led 3-2 after the first period and 5-3 after the second on Friday.
Jordy Johnston had a hat trick and four assists for Rosetown. Eric Robbie and Jared Jagow each scored twice and added two assists, while Kane Dubé also scored.
Jon McDonald scored twice for the Stars. Carson Dobson and Gavin Halter-Metcalf had the other Dodsland goals.
Noah Martens made 17 saves for the Redwings. Dodsland goaltender Conner Kidd stopped 18 shots.
The Stars then forced a deciding game with a 4-3 win in Kerrobert on Saturday night. Scoring details were not available at press time.
Game 5 is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27 in Rosetown to decide the 2026 CRHL championship.
