Verity Guild by Mai Corland (fantasy). High Priestess Kerasea Vestal has spent her life hiding the truth: that she's the last surviving heir of the magical bloodline the republic slaughtered. When a senator is brutally killed and a temple blade is found at the scene, all eyes turn to her. Praetorian Torren Morvane drags liars into the light, and Kerasea is the one person he's vowed to ruin. But locked on a mountain together, he's forced to work at her side. The closer he gets, the more dangerous the truth, and their attraction, becomes.

It Happened One Murder by Liz Lawson (mystery). After getting fired from her dream magazine job, Harriet Baker finds herself stuck back in the sleepy New Jersey beach town she once left behind. When Harriet's extravagant birthday party ends with a dead body, all fingers point to the troublesome sister of Harriet's short-lived fling from years ago. But murder makes for a good story, and when Harriet is told she can get her job back if she writes an article uncovering the truth, she readily agrees.

The Forgotten Midwife by Laura Anthony (historical fiction). Set in the dual timelines of present-day and 1950s Ireland and based on real historical events, a powerful poignant novel of feminism and resilience that follows the life of a young woman consigned to work in a home for "fallen girls" who quickly realizes she must risk everything to protect them.

The Last Page by Katie Holt (romance). The owner of The Last Page, a New York bookstore, has begun training Ella to take over managing it. But when he unexpectedly dies, it's inherited by his estranged grandson, Henry. When it becomes apparent that the store is in deep financial trouble, Henry and Ella have no choice but to team up to save the store, despite the inconvenient chemistry blossoming between them.

The One Day You Were My Husband by Rosie Walsh (thriller). Carrie and Johan marry in Thailand only months into their whirlwind romance. As the wedding festivities stretch into the night, a group of armed men take Johan away. Twelve years later, Carrie is living in the English countryside with her husband, Robin, and their twins. One night, she discovers that Johan escaped and has been living in Stockholm. Carrie becomes obsessed with discovering what happened on their wedding day, unveiling a shocking twist that tears apart everything she thought she knew.
