Milden News: Milden Skate Canada Wind-up

By Debra Sparks

March 15 was the wind-up for Milden Skate Canada. Twenty-four skaters got their report cards and goody bags and played games that afternoon. Supper was prepared by Chelsea and Russell Billett and Judy Adair. Servers were Bailey Keith, Cheryl Greuel, Judy Adair, Debbi Sparks and Russell Billett. It was a short skating season this year as a few Sundays had to be cancelled because of weather.

Milden United Church has started regular services after a winter break. Charlotte Snyder, who is a student at St. Andrew’s College, is leading the services in April. Milden’s service start time is 9:30.

Bingo is returning to the Milden Community Hall on May 4.  Games are held the first and third Mondays of the month at 7:00 p.m. There are door prizes each session and a quilt has been donated for a raffle.
