From the Milden village office: Combined Birthdays

Dana Ross’s birthday is March 12th every year. Shirley Ross Brownlee’s birthday (Dana’s aunt) is April 13th every year. Several years ago, the two of them decided they would combine their birthdays together mid-way between. So celebrations each year are held in Calgary at Shirley’s place on the last weekend in March.

For 2026, Dana visited his grandson KeAndre in northwestern Calgary before he and his wife headed to Shirley’s. Tulips were purchased and a beautiful Black Forest cake; Shirley had provided the cake in 2025. A lovely birthday together with Easter goodies and cake was enjoyed by all present. This birthday celebration is now a tradition.

Welcome to Halle Jeanne, born on January 31, 2026, weighing eight pounds three ounces and measuring 20.5 inches. Parents are Alysha and Brayden Atkinson and grandparents are Sharie and Daryl Jensen.
