Council cancels one July meeting

Town councillors decided to cancel one of their regular July meetings. They will gather on July 20 instead.

They have usually cancelled some July meetings in the past in an attempt to accommodate anyone taking summer holidays. During their May 19 meeting, members agreed to cancel the one that otherwise would have happened on July 6.

"Things still need to get done," Mayor Trevor Hay said about maintaining the July 20 meeting.
