Catholic Church Walkathon

These people raised more than $11,000 in a walkathon here on June 14. Gabrielle Decker (L), Jeanette Decker, Lacey Decker, Gerry Rogal, Erika Mourre, Krisha Louise Sagun, Marcus Batallones, Helen Mourre, Felice Mourre and, from Calgary, Sophia Bodnarek pose just before walking a roughly five-kilometre route in and around Rosetown on the Sunday afternoon, starting and finishing at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church. They did it at the request from the Diocese of Saskatoon, of which St. Theresa’s belongs, to raise money for expenses of students studying for the priesthood in the Diocese of Kano in Nigeria, home for their priest, Rev. Fr. Habila Musa.
