Prior to a rainout of a Wednesday home game with the Kindersley Klippers, the Rosetown Angels tamed the Kerrobert Red Dogs 15-5 on Sunday, June 7, in Kerrobert.
The Angels, who were to play the Raiders in Kindersley last Sunday, are to host the Oyen Eagles this Sunday, June 21, and play the Klippers in Kindersley on Tuesday.
Markus Martens hit two home runs and Craig Wagar, Emmett Keith and Tyrus Thomson each also hit one, said teammate Rob Gregory.
Martens’ first homer came in one of the first three innings, but his second was in the fourth inning, when his three teammates also hit theirs, said Gregory.
Brock Thomson pitched the first six innings and brother Tyrus pitched the seventh, he said.
Lucas Richmond, who played for the Angels in 2025, pitched the first three innings for the Red Dogs, Gregory said.
